Where do the days go.....

It seems like all we are doing lately is running from one place to another.  Today I finished things up at work to rush home and take the kids to the doctor's office.  The older ones just got flu shots, but the poor little guy needed five.  They were able to give him his flu shot as the nasal mist so that cut his shots down to four.  We knew he was strong, but experienced first hand how strong he really is today.  The nurse had his legs, daddy had his arms and I had to hold his hips to keep him for moving.  It was emotionally painful to listen to him scream and cry.  A lollipop, a few stickers and some cuddling with mom helped to settle thing down.  Thankfully he is now up to date and won't have to have any more shots for a while.

Since that was just the start to the evening we treated ourselves to a rare dinner out at one of our favorite restaurants.  After dinner we had a short stop at home where we helped the kids get homework completed.  Part of that homework was National History Day at the middle school.  We went there while Jacob sat with his project board and answered questions.
